During his run for the Presidency in 2008, then Sen. Obama called for penalty-free withdrawals from IRAs and 401(k)s for 2 years.....to help families make it through these tough times. After he got elected, what happened? Now on his re-election ,plight of the middle and working class in 2013 is worse than when he made those intial statements.
To add insult to injury, we have the people affected by Hurricane Sandy who are desperate to rebuild their lives and homes being jerked around by FEMA and the insurance companies. We bailed out the banks and financial institutions and our return was a BIG ZERO.
i am not asking for a handout, charity, or welfare, that's what we gave the banks. Access to our own money without penalty and that we will pay taxes on.
