Currently, the Armed Forces don't allow people that are currently taking medicine to treat ADD/ADHD to join the Armed Forces if they have been taking medicine to treat it within a year. If they are taking medicine there is no risk to the armed forces. And as from experience from having ADHD being in a strict disciplined service and being active like that will help a person from being a risk without medicine.
