The majority of representatives in Congress are millionaires or soon-to-be millionaires and therefore are out of touch with the struggles of everyday Americans. As a result the probability that solutions to our nation's problems will come from these opportunists is insignificant. As we can no longer trust our representatives in Congress we petition the Obama administration to increase the transparency of the federal government by making all past and future taxpayer funded research, such as that provided by the Congressional Research Service, freely available online in searchable form. The American people can then begin to solve some of the problems facing this nation without the need to pander to sycophants in Washington who are mostly interested in only their own re-elections.
