Allow People With Disabilities to Receive Organ Transplants

Created by S.C. on March 15, 2015

As of right now, people with disabilities, including people on the autism spectrum, are not permitted to be on the national list for receiving organ transplants, regardless of their personal quality of life. This is in clear defiance of one of the most important rights granted under the Declaration of Independence: Life. Denying life-saving medical procedures to people with disabilities is nothing less than discrimination and murder and the fact that a petition for this even has to be made is, quite frankly, sad.
