Allow People to Exercise the Right to NOT Own or Operate a Firearm.

No government entity should require that a household own a firearm. While the 2nd amendment assures us the right to bear arms, the constitution also gives us the freedom to choose to NOT own or operate firearms. A small Georgia town has recently REQUIRED residents to own a firearm. Nelson, Georgia is a town of about 1,300 residents north of Atlanta. The City Council in Nelson recently approved this measure unanimously. This is a threat to our civil liberties just as much as a threat to the 2nd amendment.
