allow the people to fire their representative for poor/ineffective job performance

As of late, the US government has been at a standstill. Party lines have been drawn on the floor and no one is willing to budge on any issue because of this. More and more "self imposed cuts" are happening because the house, senate, and president can't compromise on any issue. We are also having issues with our mythical debt ceiling. When you put all these things together, you end up hurting the people for whom you are to represent. That is why i am putting this petition together because i am tired of taking the blunt of our elected officials inadequacies. Our elected officials must understand that they work for us and not for their politcal careers or pocketbooks/wallets. Thank you.
