Allow people that have done a crime, and served their time to join the military if they so wish,

So today is christmas and something needs to be done, something urgent to reform our system that is set up to imprison our American citizens and keep them imprisoned even when they have served their time. Even when they are released, this has to change, and only we can make it change.
On Monday of this week i had a conversation with my brother, whom is one of those aforementioned individuals, he did a crime, served his time, and is having a terrible time in finding a job. So i as a US Army Veteran that currently lives in Germany suggested the military, more over the Air Force since i know a lot of fly guys that got some really good training from that branch. The policy now is and answer to our American guys like him is NO. He has a son, and wants to do the right thing, we should let him.
