Members of the House and Senate should not receive months off with pay throughout the year. Their sessions should run year round to help get the country back on track.
They should be taking PTO time off, just like every other American does. They also should not be receiving perks such as lunches and dinners being catered, nor voting in their own pay raises. Raises should be based on attendance, improvements in services and at a percentage rate. They are elected, working for the betterment of the people.Many have forgotten this.
