Allow people with only one kidney to serve in the U.S. Military.

Created by N.R. on February 05, 2013

For years I have been searching for a way to join the military, only to find that everywhere I look, I am denied. And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. I know that there are other men and women out there that have the same mission that I do, and that's to defend the country that we love. But why should we be denied just because of a missing kidney? Why can't there be documents we can sign to say that any kidney injuries are on our own hands, not the government? Just because we were born this way, had one removed, or even did the selfless act of donating a kidney, we are denied the chance to defend our country. We have one brain and one heart, so why not one kidney? It is our lives and I think we should have the right to join the military and defend the place we call home.
