allow people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for redress of grievances.

Created by J.G. on November 18, 2011

While it's clear that many American people have some grievances, and are trying to petition the Government, it doesn't seem that they are able to do so.

There should be some protection for the people's right to peaceably assemble and petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I suppose, while we were at it, we should probably say something about not abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.

Also, don't make any laws that establishes a State religion, or prohibits people from exercising their own religion.
