It is a basic constitutional right to own firearms in this country. This petition is being put forth to demonstrate to the American Government and President Obama that this basic constitutional right of the people of American needs to be upheld. Outlined below are just some of the reasons for this:

Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in the world and yet they allow and encourage ownership of firearms.
