The patients of medical marijuana states, especially in CA and CO, have undertaken the tasks of industry and self-regulation. This has resulted in access to safe and effective medicine along with the rise of small business and advancements within the industry. The Medical Marijuana Industry has paid taxes, created thousands of jobs, and stimulated local businesses along with developing breakthroughs in medical technology. The Medical Marijuana Industry takes money out of the hands of gangs and drug lords, and reinvests it into the American economy.
The U.S. Government should allow the medical marijuana organizations to legally establish their own safe and effective medical marijuana industry and to be able to operate as any other legitimate business.
