The Federal Reserve Board of Governors serves as an independent federal government agency and has oversight of 12 District Reserve Banks that aid with the implementation of National Monetary Policy.The Board of Governors are appointed by the President of the US and confirmed by the senate.The People of the US are well aware of the partisan pressure that affect such decisions and policies which can lead to corruption.We are therefore demanding to have a voice in the appointments of the Board of Governors by having the ability to vote for their respective positions. We strongly oppose a Board of Governors that is appointed by the President of the US being charged with regulation of the Federal Reserve! We also oppose the Board's 14 year terms and demand their terms be reduced to 4 years.
