Congress is an elected position by the general population. Why are they allowed to vote for their own raises?
When people work regular jobs, their bosses choose to give an employee a raise based on performance.
Congress has let us down time and again, and as voters who voted Congress in office, WE are Congress' employers. WE should choose whether or not they get a raise! Let's put Congress' raise to a vote!!!
