allow the people to vote directly on bills, bypassing third party influence elected representation

Created by D.D. on May 05, 2013

With todays technology every citizen can vote directly. We no longer need an elected representative to convey the message of the people,

citizens can now essentially "tweet" their vote.

This would eliminate the current disfunction of elected officials maneuvering for party affiliation, and commercial support funding.

Representatives could still be utilized to lobby in a public forum that is broadcast on every bill, but the actual vote is conducted by participating citizens.

Now political parties would no longer hold the American government hostage to push forward an agenda, and instead of commercial enterprises pouring millions into officials they would be funding communities of every citizen.
