Allow people voting for congressional and presidential candidates to select multiple options on the ballot ('Approval')

Created by P.S. on September 21, 2015

Currently, voters will only have the option to select one candidate on voting day. This will inevitably result in a two-party system, and due to the nature of a first-past-the-post or basic voting system, any smaller parties attempting to enter the political scene will be squashed.

People should be able to vote for multiple candidates, each vote counting equally. Each vote will not be for who they like the most, but who they approve of for the job. This system will allow for results based on who has the most support across the board, rather than someone who has a lot of support from a niche group or party.
