Allow people who have had cancer in their past and do not currently have it to be allowed to join the armed forces

I believe that anyone who is healthy and would like to serve in the armed forces should be allowed. I think that just because a person has had cancer in his past is not allowed to join the army. If the person who has had cancer and has been cured should be allowed to help our nation in the armed forces
