allow permenant residen. who have lived in USA for min. ten years to get benefits as citizens or allow dual citizenships

Created by J.A. on January 29, 2014

Allow good standing permanent residents who have been in the USA for more than ten years, recieve some sort of benefits such as citizens would. The problem I see is that if I become a citizen of the USA then I would loose both my Australian and United Kingdom Citizenship which I feel is unfair. I have supported my husband for the last 10 years in the Navy and as our family has grown, and travelled to various bases such as Atsugi Japan for three years, I have also done my part to help as a military spouse and also for the Navy. Some benefits should be made available without me having to loose both of my citizenships in AUS and UK!!!
