Piers Morgan was NOT attacking the 2nd amendment he was merely mirroring the views of many Americans calling for a reform in Gun laws in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacres. Phillip Van Cleave was unwilling to compromise over gun control because he sells guns & stands to lose income under any reforms to ban guns or ban the sale of AR15 style rifles & high capacity magazines. Compromise is fair & obstinacy on gun reforms is unfair. The 2nd amendment isn't well defined & it was brave of Piers Morgan to put a fair counter argument across, especially given how the families of those lost in Sandy Hook must have felt at that point in time, suffice to say that Piers Morgan was merely giving these people & others a voice in the call for gun law reforms, to balance off the strong one voiced by NRA
