As you may have noticed, police brutality and police abusing their power is becoming a norm in our daily lives. It is unfair to us, the people, to constantly live in fear of speaking out against police in fear of our lives. They should be here to protect, even though congress ruled they are only here to enforce the law. Even if that is true, they should not be allowed special rights simply because they have a badge. If you commit a crime, you should be dealt with the same consequences and sentences as would a regular civilian. Enough with giving them false power and let them realize they are no more special than us. We are all equal.
