There are millions of Polish Americans in the United States, but unfortunately a lot of them cannot see their family members, who reside in Poland, because of the high costs of obtaining a visa or a rejection of a visa.
President Obama has mentioned in the past that Poland would be admitted into this program, however, not much progress is being made.
Poland has been a member in the European Union since 2004 and has entered the Shengen Zone (ability to move around other countries, most of them being in Western Europe, freely without boarder checks.)
Since the 1989 revolutions, the Polish economy has accelerated exponentially and Poland proved to be a close ally with the United States.
Its time we lift these Visa restrictions, as we have already established Visa-free travel with WEurope
