Allow politicians, namely congressmen to be voted out of office by their states.

Created by T.A. on April 16, 2013

By allowing the people of a state or district to vote out congressmen, you create the need for higher approval ratings. Congress is notorious for displeasing the people, even though they are by the people and for the people.
This could be achieved by starting petitions by district for house members, and if a majority of people who respond to the petition are in favor of the house members removal, then the congressman would be removed and replaced. The replacement could work by having a congressman name a suitable replacement, or it could be awarded to the opponent who ran against him/her. If it would be necessary to maintain the division of parties simply give the position to the runner up from that party.
This would help prevent corruption and increase approval ratings.
