We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Allow potential Social Security recipients to gift these benefits to the next generation

Created by A.M. on January 04, 2017

There are few among the younger generations that believe they will ever receive a benefit from the social security funds that are auto withdrawn from their paychecks. There are also many who choose to draw social security, not out of need, but because they can or simply not to waste it. Currently there is no gift option for the funds that have been earned by retiring recipients. Given the option to either take $1000/month or to give $2000/month 30 years later to a child or person of choice, many would choose to pass it on. This would fortify the up and coming generation. It would also have significant financial benefits for the nation. Please help save this program by allowing those currently eligible to receive these funds to gift them to others in the future.
