Allow prayer (including in ceremonies) and religious symbols in all public places as an expression of free speech.

Created by E.M. on November 12, 2012

The practice of religious freedom was promised by our forefathers, but increasingly religious groups have come under fire for expressing their beliefs. In some schools, children are not allowed to pray, and are reprimanded for bowing their heads before meals. In our military, long-standing traditions of invocation have come under attack, even though the invocation is offered to no named god or entity. Symbols of Americana, such as the "In God We Trust" emblem are being removed from public places. Equal religious freedom is not being represented in our nation either, in that while Christianity is commonly ridiculed, other religions are defended by the government against videos, comments, or actions that bring disgrace to that faith. Let's stop the erosion of all faiths in America.
