Pass legislation to allow private and federal student loans to be discharged in bankruptcy. The current economy has made it immensely difficult, if not almost impossible to find a job. It doesn't matter what the age of the graduate is or the level of degree that they hold, tens of thousands of graduates have been unable to find any job at all. This has resulted in an undue hardship to hundreds of thousands of Americans. This needs to change, student loan bankruptcy/reform must be addressed. Student loan debt is growing exponentially, and the job market is not improving. Millions of Americans live are being ruined by this, please support legislation to fix this growing problem.
