This petition would require a propsition be placed on the next national election ballot that calls for LIFETIME term limits of 2 terms maximum for those elected to the United States Senate and the House of Representitives. If an individual reaches his term limits in either House, that person may run for office in the other House for a maximum of 4 terms combined. This proposition would require that any elected incumbant in either house with a tenure longer than the new term limits must vacate their position. If a person vacates their position, that person would be allowed to run for office in the opposite house for only one term.
