Allow protesters to protect themselves from politically motivated prosecution and harassment.

This petition exists to promote creation or modification of a constitutional amendment allowing anonymous protest. Protesters must be allowed to wear masks, bandannas, or other face coverings to prevent large scale facial recondition technologies from being abused to suppress legitimate free speech and political dissent. Protesters committing property crimes should be arrested at the time and place crimes are committed. Facial recognition technology has already been used to suppress legitimate dissent and harass protest participants without warrant in information trolling efforts on behalf of federal grand juries in Oregon and Washington. This must not continue. Threats to corporate power are not threats to America's security.,
