In order to change the entitlement mentality of this country, accepting tax payer dollars for extended periods of time versus working, needs to be socially unacceptable. Currently this is not the case. With each individual being forced to listen to ridicule and why this their actions and decisions are poor, they might actually make better decisions and try to find a job.
Chances are these people do not know any better or were raised to think that lifetime government handouts are the only way of life. If the parents of these welfare recipients would not teach them the correct way to live, then the tax payers should get the opportunity to teach them and voice their displeasure publicly through federal airwaves.
