We want the federal government to create a law that protects its citizens from harassment when providing public services, such as the federally-funded lifeline program.
In specifics, those who offer the free phones through this government-funded lifeline program should be allowed to set up on public sidewalks & areas not obstructing traffic or areas of right of way for pedestrians to walk, cross, or wheel chair access.
Sidewalks are not city property, but is the property of the public, as paid for by tax dollars.
Cities, especially some smaller vicinities in California, take it upon themselves to ban public services from being administered on public property.
