To allow recreational use of Marijuana in the state of Utah.

Created by R.S. on November 30, 2012

For too long Marijuana has been considered taboo, and it's use, as well as cultivation, outlawed. Even though many studies proved its effectiveness as a pain suppressant, as an anti–depressant, treatment for glaucoma, and other medical applications. It is also far less (if at all) likely to become physically dependant on Marijuana use, unlike alcohol, tobacco, opiates, and benzodiazepines. Utah is surrounded by states that have Legalized medicinal as well as recreational Marijuana use, and is also itself saturated with habitual cannabis smokers. It has become an extremely tedious and exhausting; if not IMPOSSIBLE job to keep it out of the state anymore. Many thousands are also facing criminal charges and imprisonment for crimes related to cannabis, wasting taxpayers money.
