Allow registered Independents to vote in all elections.

Created by G.T. on October 17, 2014

When I switched from a registered Republican voter to a registered Independent voter in 2012, with my new voter card came a yellow slip of paper stating that Independents can only vote in Presidential Elections.

This is a violation of my voting rights as a USA Citizen. Because of this, I can't vote for my state's governor, congress person, or state legislature when it is not a presidential election. Also, because of this, I can't vote for anything related to my local government, local issues, or state issues because I am a registered Independent.

WE THE PEOPLE should not be forced to pick a party in order to vote. This is a blunt violation of my voting rights and it needs to change.
