Whether guns are obtained legally or illegally, they will always surround us. Even if a ban is set forth that just means you're taking away the guns of law abiding citizens who have them registered. We can't even protect ourselves as it is because most states do not allow concealed carry, let alone now it seems we won't have any guns at all. Bloodshed is never the answer, but if people within these recent gun violence incidents would be allowed a concealed carry license, then maybe as many lives wouldn't have been lost. Do all the background screening you want, do what it takes, but allow us our right to bear arms as American citizens. Allow us to protect ourselves, our families, and the good Americans that surround us all.
