After diverting the International Sun-Earth Explorer-3 (ISEE3) satellite to study the Giacobini-Zinner comet in 1983, Robert Farquhar and NASA now have the opportunity to return the ISEE3 back to its initial position, where it can resume its original mission.
President Obama should direct NASA to allow this attempt to happen.
