This petition is a basic appeal for intervention to ensure that a family seeking asylum is allowed to stay and educate their family and live the way that their conscious dictates. America was founded by those fleeing from oppressive governments that marginalized them and persecuted them for having different concepts. If people with distant ties to terrorism can be allowed to come to our country why cannot a Christian family seeking protection for their way of life? If this family is deported then it is a blatant revelation of this administration's derisive views of America and her foundations. Does this case not remind anyone of Wisconsin v. Yoder? The situation might be a bit different, but the concepts are applicable.
