We the People of the state of Georgia should have the legal right to gain safe access to cannabis for medical purposes. By allowing medical cannabis to be available to the public safely will give the patients, seeking a healthier alternative to prescription narcotics, an opportunity to gain the medical attention the patients desire. Health benefits are not the only positive payoff of suggesting a safe alternative to the potentially lethal prescription medications you receive from today's clinics, but along with the medical cannabis industry comes more jobs, lowering the unemployment rate for the state of Georgia, and also helps lower the crime rate by eliminating the use of the black market for the people who need cannabis for medical reasons along with many other reasons.
