Allow same-sex marriage. We are People too.

We are people too. There have been domestic partnerships and civil unions for years, much more so now. We, whether we are straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, or transgender, have feelings. We want to be able to join our companions in marriage. There are homosexuals who have been together for 20+ years but have never had a chance to be married. Help fight for human rights as civilization moves forward. How is the United States of America the most "advanced" and yet so far behind on human rights and liberties? We argue free speech and yet we don't honor it by allowing same-sex marriage. Separation of church and state was so long ago, yet it still happens. One religion is not the same religion for all. Religious beliefs put aside, stand for equal marriage and fight for liberty!!!!
