Knowing there is no way to eliminate all guns, knives, explosives, etc. that a criminal intent on causing harm could utilize it is time to look harder at protecting our children in their classrooms. If a principal, teacher or other staff member meets the necessary requirements to own and carry a handgun in their state they should be allowed to safely carry that handgun in order to protect our children in the classroom. Gun control laws will not work. Criminals do not follow laws. Make it safe for my children to attend school.
