At present, student loan borrowers are restricted to one consolidation of all student loans obtained through the Federal Government. This petition requests that a second consolidation of such loans be allowed so that borrowers might take advantage of a lower interest rate than that which they are presently locked into by the first/initial student loan consolidation.
