Senators Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders are both known as good, honest people that are well educated about issues, and quality representatives of their positions.
As such, both Senators Cruz and Sanders are suitable representatives for right wing/left wing positions, and a formal debate between them - exclusively on the issues - would benefit all.
I hereby propose that the Administration allow and encourage representatives of both parties to engage in interparty debate, so that Americans vote for positions, not for parties - starting with Senators Cruz and Sanders, as the law allows, on the Senate floor, according to the rules of the Chamber.
