The two regions in the State of New York are no longer compatable in ethic, purpose, or motivation. The metropolis of New York City, and its supportive areas from Rensselaer county south and Delaware county east are motivated by an ethic and society of general welfare programming and commercialsim. Where the counties west and north of those bounds are driven more and more by personal free enterprise, agriculture and selective industry. The appeal of this petition is to have neither entity limited by the reluctance or refusal to continue down each others path. Due to the metropolis and like areas' overwhelming population the north and western counties are often left with little to no voice in federal politcs and policy. This petition requests the seperation of New York into two states.
