Allow Service members and their families to defend themselves while performing their daily duties on federal property.

4 Marines were tragically killed today. Sadly this will be the norm until the current policies regarding carry and concealment/open carry of weapons at military facilities and buildings is changed. The very people we trust to do the right thing in combat are targets at home. Unless something in DOD changes we will see more and more service members and families who are unable to defend themselves killed by cowards with the aid of our OWN POLICIES. Make no mistake, this is the world we live in now. Would Maj Hasaan have been able to kill as many as he did in Fort Hood if some of the other soldiers were armed? I think not! He might have gotten a few but then he would have been taken out before it became the massacre of the defenseless that it was. Allow us who stand watch to defend ourselves
