Service members are currently banned from carrying weapons (concealed or open) on Military Installations. In the past 4 years there have been multiple incidents on Installations that could have been minimized/prevented if one Service Member had a firearm on them. A law abiding citizen of the United States should have the right to defend themselves and those around them if needed. Modify current restrictions that allow personnel to carry firearms, even if certain qualifications need to be met.
