The ACA has been the cause of much frustration and confusion for the past few years. While the goal to insure millions of more Americans is a great aspiration, it is not going without bumps in the road.
Despite your party affiliation and opinion on the various aspects of the ACA, one obvious flaw can be seen and agreed upon by everyone.
Under the essential benefits required by the ACA, maternity, newborn and pediatric care is required for ALL plans.
This is true even for males who are single and have no children, which means unnecessarily higher premiums.
There is a very simple fix.
This petition is asking for an exemption from that coverage for those who can not take advantage of it.
