Allow smaller businesses to flourish by lowering self employment tax.

Created by P.B. on September 25, 2011

Self employed people generally pay higher taxes than employed persons, making it tougher to expand business. Self employed persons making less than $250,000 should not be subject to higher taxes than their employed counterparts. Please lower self employment tax, if not for all, at least newer businesses that have a harder time getting through the first few years they are opened.
