This petition has been created to ask the Winslow Township Board of Education to allow parents to once again pack snacks for their children. Recently the Winslow Township Board of Education, in Winslow Township, New Jersey, implemented a "NO SNACK" policy within its schools. This encompasses elementary, middle, and high schools. According to the Superintendent, this "NO SNACK" policy was implemented due to the recent USDA and New Jersey State laws eliminating "sugary / salty" snacks from being sold in schools. This petition is NOT disputing the USDA policy - it is simply asking that we as parents be allowed to send in a compliant snack for our children.
