My client called me today in tears. She is a full time student and was just informed that she can not get food stamps (SNAP) if she is in school and needs to drop out and bring Public Aid a copy of her drop out sheet to reinstate her food benefits. While she is getting an education, the system cuts her off of food??? That's messed up!
