Allow soldiers, of both genders, to have equal rights when it comes to dress code. Hair, clothing, makeup, etc.

Created by A.R. on January 08, 2013

The military, be it the Army, Navy, etc, has strict dress code for both members of sex. BUT, male and female are separated, for what reasons? Why can the female members have long hair, well kept and out of way, but men are not allowed to grow past the quarter inch mark? Wasn't it Jefferson, a founding father, whom stated that "all men are created equal"? Who are we to pull the "equal but separate" card, and say that men and women are equal, but have different regulations for a reason? Men and women both, should have equal opportunities when it comes to dress code, and not be judged based solely on their gender.
