Allow Soldiers to Regimentally affiliate to units that they are assigned to instead of the unit that is that branch.

I and many more soldiers are unable to affiliate with the units that we are assigned to. For example I am a forward observer but have always been in an infantry unit. Because i am field artilery I am not allowed to regimentally affiliate with the unit that i have been assigned to, deployed with and lost close friends from. I petition to allow soldiers that are assigned to a unit regardless of branch to be allowed per AR 670-1 to regimentally affiliate with the unit of their choosing.
