Freedom of expression is one of the fundamental rights contained within the US Constitution. The US Federal Government has never allowed foreign nations, or foreign, governments to infringe on this basic constitutional right without vigorously challenging such infringement. The President has recently announced that the US Federal Government will "proportionately respond" to the North Korean cyberattack against Sony for potentially releasing the film "The Interview". I applaud the President for announcing his future action(s) but would like a more immediate direct response to this foreign breach of our national constitution. A viewing of this film in the White House would be a meaningful symbolic gesture challenging the government of the current leader of Korea.
