Allow stable individuals on a prescribed medication for ADD/ADHD to join the military w/out discontinuing their meds.

I am a recent college graduate with ADD/ADHD. I have had it all my life, but have been on medication since high school. I continue to remain stable on it and even graduated college Cum Laude with a BA in International Relations and a minor in History. I also have my AA in Pre-Law, and achieved academic Dean's List each semester. To add, I am also a member of Sigma Iota Rho the National Honor Society for International Relations. It has always been a dream of mine to follow in my father's footsteps and join the U.S. Military, but due to my ADD/ ADHD and DOD guidelines I'm not able to join any branch as an officer or enlisted soldier without being off my meds for a year. This petition is to allow someone like myself an opportunity to serve in the U.S. Military and represent the United States.
